Delivery, Pick Ups & Assembly Policy

PICKUP, DELIVERY & ASSEMBLY TERMS

PICK UP FROM OUR WAREHOUSE - 13 MOUNTJOY ST, WOOLLOONGABBA 4102

Orders placed online may be collected free of charge from our warehouse, strictly by appointment only.

To arrange a pickup time, please contact us via email. When collecting your order, you must bring:

  • Your order confirmation email
  • Valid photo identification

If payment was made by credit card, the cardholder must be present at pickup with photo ID for verification purposes.

For payments made via POLi Internet Banking, items can only be released once funds have cleared and are received into Furniture Importer’s bank account. You will be notified by email when your order is ready.

If a third party is collecting your order on your behalf, you must notify Furniture Importer in advance. Failure to do so may result in the goods not being released.

Our warehouse operating hours are:

  • Wednesday to Sunday: 10:00am – 4:00pm

Simply select Pick Up at checkout and we’ll take care of the rest. If you wish to collect from a different location, please contact us prior to ordering.

If any items are subject to delays, our sales team will advise you at the time they contact you.

Please note: customers must supply their own transport equipment, including straps, ropes, and protective coverings. Furniture Importer does not provide loading or securing materials.


DELIVERY

Delivery fees vary depending on the item type and delivery distance. To obtain an accurate delivery quote, please enter your delivery details at checkout.

For deliveries to remote or regional locations, or if you have specific delivery requirements, our sales team can assist. Please contact us either before or after placing your order.

Delivery availability depends on:

  • Your location
  • Product availability
  • Scheduling capacity

Important delivery conditions:

  • Delivery is ground level or front garage only
  • Additional charges apply for carrying items inside the property (refer to Assembly Terms & Conditions)
  • Deliveries to upstairs locations require prior notification to obtain a quote
  • For credit card payments, the cardholder must be present with photo ID at delivery
  • If no one is present at the scheduled delivery time, re-delivery will need to be arranged and additional fees may apply
  • Customers must ensure suitable access for furniture delivery prior to ordering
  • Delivery and assembly fees are non-refundable, so please clarify all details before placing your order

ASSEMBLY SERVICES

Assembly fees are calculated based on the complexity of the product and the work involved.

Assembly services are available for ground-floor locations, but may not apply to upstairs areas or apartments.

Please note:

  • Assembly does not include removal or disposal of packaging materials
  • Furniture Importer and its staff are not liable for accidental damage to customer property during delivery or assembly
  • Customers must ensure the delivery and assembly pathway is clear, accessible, and free from obstructions
  • Additional charges may apply if extra work is required to clear or modify the pathway

To assess whether assembly can be carried out safely and efficiently, Furniture Importer may request additional details from the customer, including photos or videos of the delivery area.

If delivery or assembly cannot be completed due to insufficient space or access restrictions, all delivery and assembly fees remain non-refundable.

Furniture Importer reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to decline or cancel an assembly service. If this occurs, any assembly fees already paid will be refunded in full.
